DONATIONS/MAJOR GIFTS are received from former patients and their families, hospital employees, individuals interested in health care, service clubs, and community organizations. Major gifts consist of cash or gift-in-kind donations of $1,000 or more. Major donors are recognized on plaques throughout the hospital and on a Donor Sculpture in the main lobby. In-kind donations of equipment and/or supplies are also accepted and we make sure those in need receive such donations.
PLANNED GIVING/ALUMNI PROGRAMS: Planned charitable gifts support the future work of Hurley. Members of the James J. Hurley Society use estate and financial planning to create a legacy for themselves, their families, and our community. Alumni giving is a strong focus for fundraising, to support Hurley Medical Center's role as a center of education for physicians, nurses, and other health professionals.
